What is Facial Fitness?

The reason we see wrinkles on our skin as we get older is because the underlying muscles slacken.

Facial exercise was developed in the 1940’s by an Austrian dancer called Eva Hoffman, who noticed that fellow dancers maintained great body muscle tone throughout their lives. Noticing, though, that their faces showed more signs of ageing, she decided to apply the principles of exercise to the facial muscles, and developed a set of exercises that would improve and tone them.

Eva Fraser, now 88, met Eva Hoffman in Vienna many years ago and persuaded her to pass on the exercises. Eva Fraser has developed the exercises into a course that is designed to exercise all 57 facial muscles.

The results can be quite astonishing. After a few weeks of 10 minutes of exercise, 4 to 5 times a week, you will notice that fine lines lessen, and that slack skin around the eyes and neck starts to become more taut.

I went to Eva as a client in 2009, and am now one of a handful of people worldwide that she has trained as a practitioner.

You can find out more about Eva and the methodology here:

We can show you how, with just a few minutes of exercise 4-5 days a week:

  • Nose to mouth lines will lessen
  • Upper cheeks will be lifted and fuller
  • The jaw line will be firmer
  • Eyelids will be stronger and liftedTake the first step to a radiant you!

Courses available in Yorkshire & Lancashire; and across the north of England, by kind agreement of Eva Fraser.
